The guides were great, the food was excellent the sunset views were splendid and the accommodation was fine (it is on the edge of the jungle, so monkeys may climb on it). Filbert was helpful from the start. Thanks for a great stay. Emre Aktas2022-12-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It was the worst safari lodge experience ever. We booked for 3 nights, but just run away after a night. There was nothing to mention as good… You cannot lock the room from inside as the lock is not working properly. The room seems never cleaned, in several locations My face hit to big spider nets, bed was full with sand. Shower and toilet area is also messy. I simoly advice not to read the 5* reviews and stay away of this place (I’m not even able to say lodge) ugur diker2022-12-22Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Based on the good reviews we decided to stay here but was a total disaster. The condition of the rooms and the cleanliness is a very big disappointment. There was sand on the bed sheet and realized while going to sleep. No proper cleaning is done. The people do not understand english and bring you something they think you wanted when you order your breakfast. There were dead bugs on the mosquito net and a big hole just in the top middle big enough a bird can fit. The fans they use are around 10 years old and make a lot of noise. There is fridge in the room but so old that if it is on, you can’t sleep because of the noise. Left the place after 1 night stay. It needs maintenance, proper cleaning and a good management. Xavier FG2022-10-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tijdens onze vakantie in Zanzibar hadden wij een fly-in safari in Nyerere national park (selous game reserve). Hiervoor verbleven wij in Mapumziko Lodge. Beide heel gepassioneerd in hun vak. Di Jan2022-08-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alles war perfekt.
