Package Day to Day

Day 1: Arrival at Nyerere National Park

Arrive at Nyerere National Park either by flight from Zanzibar or by road from Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and transfer to Selous Mapumziko Lodge. Check-in and relax amidst the peaceful surroundings. Spend the evening at leisure with dinner served at the lodge. Overnight at Selous Mapumziko Lodge.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive and Night Safari

After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive across the dramatic landscapes of Nyerere National Park. From the miombo woodlands to open plains and winding rivers, you’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. A packed lunch will be enjoyed inside the park to maximize wildlife viewing time. After returning to the lodge and enjoying dinner, prepare for an exhilarating night game drive — a rare opportunity to observe nocturnal animals in action. Overnight at Selous Mapumziko Lodge.

Day 3: Second Full-Day Game Drive

Another full day is dedicated to game viewing, giving you the chance to explore different areas of the park and encounter even more wildlife. Day 4: 8-Hour Boat Safari and Cultural Experience

Today you will embark on an extraordinary eight-hour boat safari on the Rufiji River, timed either at sunrise or sunset depending on your preference.
